
Woodworking Machine Operator

duties and responsibilities

Inspecting and sub-assembling materials and articles to specified standards,

Setting up, programming, and operating computerized and manual woodworking machines,

Replacing parts as required

Reading and interpreting specifications and verbal instructions,
-
Operating pre-set special woodworking machines to fabricate wood products,
-
Using hand tools to cut, shape, and form parts and components,
-
Loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment,
-
Repair and maintenance of woodworking machines, cleaning, and lubricating equipment,
-
Checking completed parts for quality of cut and critical dimensions,
-
Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
-
2 years of experience in operating woodworking machinery.
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Ability to perform routine maintenance.
-
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
